An example of fusion, the Nike Air Max 270 React, as one cohesive unit of two distinct parts, bears looks strong in silhouette while often staying equivalently loud in colorway. This release sports a White and Black upper with Pink running across the mudguard and up the heel with a matching tinted air bubble. You notice a dash of Red used on the heel Swoosh logo while having a graphic insole.
The design draws inspiration from radiating colors and textures found in various art movements over the last 100+ years. This iteration is dubbed, “Bauhaus” that pays tribute to the school’s founding of simplified, geometric shapes with an eye-catching asymmetrical color balance.
Introduced in February 2018, this Nike silhouette gets its name from the 270 degree view of the Air Max unit beneath the heel, appearing here in Menta. Repurposing the Air Max technology into a lifestyle sneaker, this ‘Grape’ model also comes as an homage to the Air Max 95, which sported the colorway years earlier.
